We evaluate persistent post-collision symptoms, recommend imaging or specialist referral when our findings indicate, and return the patient to your care with a written summary of our findings.
Our Referral Commitment to You
Communication. Every patient referred to Cityside Chiropractic receives a referring physician summary report within 48 hours of their evaluation — documenting our clinical findings and impressions and any specialist referrals we initiate from our evaluation.
Coordination. When our evaluation identifies findings that warrant referral — disc herniation requiring neurosurgical evaluation, vestibular dysfunction requiring vestibular rehabilitation, oculomotor dysfunction requiring neuro-ophthalmology — we coordinate that referral and communicate with your office.
Scope. Cityside Chiropractic operates within the scope of chiropractic practice in Rhode Island. We do not prescribe medication, perform procedures outside chiropractic scope, or manage conditions beyond our clinical expertise. When our evaluation identifies conditions requiring specialist management, we refer appropriately and communicate with the referring physician.
Availability. Same-day appointments for car accident patients. 48-hour report turnaround. Direct physician-to-physician communication available when clinical coordination requires it.
